Fei Protocol is designed to be flexible and evolve with DeFi around it. Members of the Tribe (whether holding governance votes or not) should be empowered to share ideas and drive conversations that can eventually lead to on or off-chain change.
I am proposing the following flow and guidelines to have effective governance:
- Informal discussion in Discord and the Ideas forum
- Formal discussion in the Proposals forum to specify the details of a change
- Snapshot voting on a proposal
- Complete implementation of the proposal
- If substantial changes occur during implementation, re-snapshot vote
- DAO vote on-chain
